Chanique possesses a diverse love for music and her unique sound can only be described as a mix of soulful Jazz, smooth R and B and harmonious gospel. She is co-owner of Caribbean and pop group, D Magma Band.

 

Background

 

Chanique Rogers was born on the beautiful Caribbean island of Saint Vincent and the Grenadines. At an early age she discovered that she was blessed with a beautiful voice and lovingly acquired the name "songbird". Chanique's talents also include song writing, acting and modeling in runway shows. 

 

 

Chanique has performed on BET's 106 & Park as a spotlight Artist. She has also performed alongside Former lady of Chic Alfa Anderson; world renowned singer an music composer Aziza Miller and violinist Daisy Joplin. Rogers has also repeatedly been invited to perform on ABC's daytime television show "The Chew", alongside the RCE ensemble.

Chanique has released inspirational as well as "feel good" singles; namely, ‘I Can’ on the Indie label, Adrilor Music, 'Real Love', an upbeat soca/ techno favorite , album ‘Giving thanks’ and most recent single  'Don't Break My Heart' on the Indie label, AB Squared.

Her singing she adds is a vital part of her existence. Chanique credits her divinely personal progress, alongside the support she has received from her flesh-and kin and those in her loving surrogate family, as what keeps her pushing to better herself and talent; to become better at all she does.
